It gives us a great honor, privilege and pleasure to extend a warm and cordial invitation to you for Bleeding Disorder Consensus meeting (BDCM) 2023 to be held on 2nd- 3rd May, 2023 at Hotel Shivalik View Sector 17 Chandigarh.

The Meeting is being organized by Hemophilia Advocacy Society, Punjab in association with Guru Gobind Singh Medical College & Hospital, Faridkot under the guidance and support of Health Departments of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pardesh and Jammu & Kashmir.

Hemophilia Advocacy Society, Punjab is the pioneer society working for the wellbeing of hemophiliacs in the state of Punjab and putting hard efforts to create awareness in this community. Society runs different initiatives for making patients aware about overall management of this disorder for better outcomes & a good quality of Life.

Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital, Faridkot is a renowned leading patient care and research institute of Punjab. It has an illustrious reputation for providing excellent clinical services as well as postgraduate training in many fields. It is affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Punjab.

It will be our endeavor to have a scientific program, which is relevant to the emerging needs of treating physicians in the field of Hemophilia. Our aim is to give impetus to transformational research, learning from eminent National and Regional faculties and from the Centers of excellence in India. BDCM 2023 will focus on different strategies in the management of hemophilia based on health economics and treatment outcomes, importance of holistic approach in hemophilia and other emerging trends. Experts from Clinical Hematology, Pediatric Hematology, Pediatrics, Medicine, Pathology, Immuno-Hematology & Blood Transfusion Medicine, Orthopedics, Surgery, Dentistry, and Physiotherapy will participate in this consensus meeting. Our aim is to reach at a consensus for the treatment of different archetypes of Hemophilia A, Hemophilia B and other bleeding disorders by end of BDCM 2023.

It promises to be an outstanding scientific event combined with an extremely rich cultural experience of Chandigarh- ‘the city beautiful’. We trust that BDCM 2023 will help in fostering the new ideas, adopting the best practices and accelerating our learning curve.
